DCAM Program Management Assistance

KEI was selected to provide DCAM with program management support services on a task order basis. Under this $1.5 million on-call contract, KEI services may include review and management of: cost estimates, design and construction scheduling, complex staging, and development of recommendations for alternatives to maintain or recover cost and schedule. Task orders to date have included:

  • Review of the Contractor’s Initial Baseline and Monthly Schedule updates in connection with the construction of the new UMass Amherst Laboratory Science Building, a 304,000 sf facility valued at approximately $122M. The project delivery method is CM-at-Risk under MGL c. 149A.
  • Development of a preliminary pre-construction schedule and review of the Contractor’s Initial Baseline and Monthly Schedule updates in connection with the construction of the new UMass Amherst Academic Classroom Building, a 171,000 sf facility valued at approximately $72M. The project delivery method is CM-at-Risk under MGL c. 149A.
  • Review of the Contractor’s Initial Baseline and Monthly Schedule updates in connection with the construction of the new UMass Boston Integrated Science Complex, a 220,000 sf facility valued at approximately $124M. The project delivery method is CM-at-Risk under MGL c. 149A.
  • Development of a Master Schedule incorporating key milestone dates and activities for DCAM major capital construction projects.
  • Development of cost estimates for various roof systems related to a cost benefits analysis.
  • Resident Engineering support services in connection with the construction of the new Salem Trial Courthouse/J. Michael Ruane Judicial Center in Salem, MA, 195,000 sf facility value d at $106.5M. The project delivery method was CM-at-Risk under MGL c. 149A.
