Boston Public Facilities (Scheduling)

For over 12 years, Keville has been providing on-call independent cost estimating and scheduling services in support of the design development and execution of the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department’s Capital Construction Program. Notably, Keville was re-selected by the City to provide these same services for a fifth consecutive 3-year term (2015 to 2018). Under the cost estimating contract, Keville provides independent cost estimating services to assist the City in its design and budgeting efforts. Keville assists with review of change order proposals, we independently review cost estimates developed by designers at various stages of development (i.e. 30%, 60%, 90%) and offer input and assessments on costs and opportunities for savings. Under the scheduling contract, we provide detailed schedule analysis to assist with project planning efforts and contract time determinations, as well as identify schedule and cost impacts associated with construction activities, including cumulative impacts and recovery methods.
